Nous sommes arrivés hier après-midi à Bangkok. Nous avons opté pour la partie moderne de la ville. Métro et train aérien climatisé aident beaucoup dans les déplacements! Ce côté de Bangkok change beaucoup de ce que nous avions vu (le vieux Bangkok) à notre arrivée! En gros, nous nous préparons au retour au monde occidental!
Pour le coucher de soleil nous sommes montés sur la terrasse du luxueux Banyan Tree Hotel (61 étages) pour une magnifique vue de Bangkok, et un cocktail sacrément cher! Magnifique souvenir!
Aujourd'hui, nous avons fait du shopping au célèbre Chatuchak market. Marché semi-couvert qui vend de tout (animaux, bouffe, fringues, et art de toute la Thailande). Bref, on est bien crevés maintenant! Dans quelques heures nous partons pour Sydney!
Yesterday afternoon we arrived in Bangkok. We decided to stay in the modern part of the city (quite a change from the old part that we visited when we arrived), we are getting ready to go back in the western world!
We watched the sunset from the luxuous Banyan Tree Hotel's terrace (61 floors), where we had a quite expensive cocktail. The view of the spraling city was amazing!
There is a lot of shopping to do and we spent more than half of the day at the famous Chatuchak market (half outdoor market selling pets, food, clothes, and the traditional Thai handicraft). We had to buy an extra bag to stuff all of our new belongings!
We are leaving in a couple of hours for Sydney!
