Ca y est, nous quittons Utila demain... snif snif, mais nous avons encore un mois de vacances. Bel et Chris ont bien essayé de nous faire rester. Chris nous a meme dit qu'il pouvait ne pas travailler cette semaine, s'occuper de son adorable chienne Sassy et que nous pouvions etre payés! Mais bon, nous aimerions un peu voir du pays....
Ces deux derniers jours de plongée ont été cool (comme tous les autres!). Nous avions un super couple d'américains (premiers pourboires!). Ma dernière plongée, ce matin, je les ai guidés et j'ai trouvé: une spotted eagle ray, un beau poisson plat, un gros barracuda, des “yellow head jawfish” (poissons qui s'enfoncent dans le sable verticalement, tete jaune, nageoire caudale bleue, et qui gardent leurs oeufs dans leur bouche -voir les photos!), un hippocampe -un moniteur de plongée venait de nous dire qu'il n'était pas la, mais je l'ai trouvé!), de belles méduses, et pour finir alors que je les ramène au bateau: une superbe sea slug (limace de mer) toute colorée!
Nous avons passé notre dernière soirée à un barbecue chez notre cher boulanger américain en compagnie bien sur de Bel et Chris avec qui nous avions célébré la veille notre divemaster au Cava au resto mexicain! Utila va nous manquer... mais jamais deux sans trois!!!! Et qui sait pour combien de temps cette troisième fois???
Nous partons pour le Guatemala demain: bateau et chicken bus...

Last day on Utila. We had a lot of fun diving and spending time with great friends! We have been leading dives the last two days for a nice couple of Americans. On my last lead today, I found: a spotted eagle ray, a flounder, a big barracuda, 2 groups of yellow head jawfish (pictured above), a seahorse (that according to another divemaster was no longer here, but I found it!) and at the end of the dive as I bring them back to the boat a cool lettuce sea slug!
We spend the last two nights with Bel and Chris, Sunday celebrating with bubbles and good Mexican food our Divemaster completion! and tonight at a BBQ with John, the great baker!
We will miss Utila, but we will be back... When is the only question!
En route to Guatemala tomorrow by boat and then chicken bus...
